Celebrating Child Abuse Prevention Month and Volunteer Appreciation Month. We had a wonderful meeting to honor both Child Abuse Prevention Month and Volunteer Appreciation Month. Our guest speaker, Nikki De Jesus, shared valuable insights about Champions for Children. Our GFWC sisterhood donated formula, breast pumps, diapers, and wipes for families benefiting from Layla’s House, one of the services provided by Champions for Children. To top it off, we enjoyed delicious cupcakes in recognition of our dedicated volunteers.
